Carbovate is pleased to announce initial development of a new process to produce high quality asphalt cement directly from select feedstocks. Initial laboratory testing is complete and the Company will move to the next stage developing basic process design.

Carbovate is pleased to announce the selection of Process Engineers International (Oakridge, Tennessee) to develop a complete process design of the Carbovate asphalt production process to level FEL2. Process Engineers International was selected for its broad industry experience and will work closely with Carbovate engineers targeting completion in early 2021

Carbovate engineering is proposing a new process that aims to augment or potentially replace the need for a traditional flare in its asphalt production platform. The Company shall work toward process development and explore potential application beyond internal needs. The technology is being developed in consultation with Carbovate partner Process Engineers International

Carbovate announces the completion of the FEL2 Process Design level of its unique Asphalt Distillation Process. The Carbovate team and partner Process Engineers International worked diligently and completed the project on time and on budget. Known internally as the "Carbovator", Carbovate will move to the next phase to develop a full Process Design Package (PDP) and explore the potential of modular design.

In an expansion of its asphalt formulation studies and analysis, Carbovate has developed a partnership with Dr. Simon Hesp of Queens University. Carbovate will leverage his laboratory, students and analytical skills to further its analysis of feedstocks for its asphalt process. Dr. Hesp is highly recognized and respected for his work in research and analysis of road asphalts. A recent study by Dr. Hesp for Alberta Innovates can be found here;

Carbovate is please announce an engineering partnership with Thermo Design Engineering (TDE) Edmonton, Alberta. TDE will work with Carbovate to develop a licensable Process Design Package based on a modular platform. TDE brings a global footprint and history in modular design and have full manufacturing facilities in Edmonton.
